Record-Breaking Campaign
Forward Barbra Banda enters Saturday's matchup against Portland coming off a brace in Orlando's 2-2 draw against the Kansas City Current on Sept. 11. The Zambia international has scored a club-record 16 goals this season, extending the Orlando Pride single-season scoring mark after surpassing the previous record of 13 goals set by Marta in 2017 and matched by Banda in 2024.
Century Mark for McCutcheon
Haley McCutcheon is set to make her 100th regular-season appearance for the Orlando Pride on Saturday against Portland. The club captain has enjoyed a career year offensively in 2026, scoring a personal-best four goals, including a strike in Orlando's Sept. 6 win over the Houston Dash that set a new single-season career high. With her next appearance, McCutcheon would join Marta as the only players in Orlando Pride history to reach 100 regular-season appearances for the club.
Pruning the Thorns
The Orlando Pride have found success against the Portland Thorns in Central Florida, winning each of the last three meetings between the two sides in Orlando. Included in that stretch was a 2-1 victory on May 24, 2024, when Barbra Banda recorded a brace against Portland. The performance marked the second of Banda's nine career multi-goal games with the Pride and helped propel Orlando during its historic 2024 campaign.
Elite Company
Barbra Banda's brace in Orlando's 2-2 draw against the Kansas City Current marked the 10th multi-goal performance of her NWSL career. With the two-goal outing, Banda became just the third player in league history to record 10 or more multi-goal matches with a single club, joining Sophia Wilson and Megan Rapinoe.
Unbeaten at CPKC
Orlando's 2-2 draw against the Kansas City Current on Sept. 11 continued the Pride's success at CPKC Stadium. The Pride remain the only NWSL club unbeaten at the venue, holding a 1W-0L-2D record since Kansas City began playing at the stadium ahead of the 2024 season. Orlando also remains the only team in league history to defeat the Current at CPKC Stadium, earning a 2-1 victory on July 6, 2024.
