As the Pride host Gotham FC on Sunday, here are five things to watch for:

Firsts for Club and Country

Solai Washington has found the back of the net twice in October, scoring her first international goal for Jamaica in a friendly against Mexico on Oct. 9 before netting her first professional goal in the Pride’s 2-1 victory over the Houston Dash on Oct. 18. Washington’s goal against Houston came off an assist from Marta and ultimately stood as the game-winner.

Ten and Counting

The Pride are currently riding a 10-match league scoring streak, finding the back of the net in every match from Aug. 7 through Oct. 18. The current run continued with Orlando’s 2-1 road victory over the Houston Dash and stands as the Club’s longest scoring streak since finding the back of the net in 16 consecutive matches from September 2023 to June 2024.

Marta Makes 70

Club captain Marta reached another milestone in Sunday’s win over Houston, recording her 70th goal contribution across all competitions for the Pride with her assist on Solai Washington’s goal. Marta now has 49 goals and 21 assists for Orlando, with those 21 assists setting up 16 different Pride players. Only Jess Fishlock and Meghan Klingenberg have assisted goals for more different players with a single club across all competitions.

Lu from the Spot

Midfielder Luana scored her second goal across all competitions for the Pride in Sunday’s 2-1 victory over the Houston Dash, converting from the penalty spot in the 15th minute. Both of Luana’s goals since arriving in Orlando in December 2023 have come from the penalty spot, with her first coming in the Pride’s playoff victory over Seattle Reign FC during the 2025 NWSL Playoffs.

40 - 20 Club

With her assist on Solai Washington’s goal against Houston, Marta became the 10th player in NWSL history to record 40 goals and 20 assists. The Pride captain is just the fourth player in league history to reach both marks with a single club, adding another league milestone to her Orlando career. At 40 years old, Marta also stands as the oldest player in NWSL history to reach the 40-goal, 20-assist mark.

Milestone Tracker:

  • Jacquie Ovalle’s next goal will be her fifth across all competitions with the Pride.
  • Haley McCutcheon is two goals away from scoring her 15th across all competitions in her Pride career. She would become the fifth player in Club history to score 15 or more goals with the Pride.
