That match saw goalkeeper Anna Moorhouse make three saves on the night, which puts her at 292 career regular-season saves and breaks the record previously held by Pride goalkeeper Ashlyn Harris (289) for the most regular-season saves in Pride history. Moorhouse has made 90 regular-season appearances and has the Pride record for most clean sheets in team history with 33.

They took an early lead and then we got into some good areas but weren’t really threatening in those situations. Spoke to the players after the game that we have to compete more, we have to have that intensity that we do and be brave on the ball and clean on the ball as well. Teams like North Carolina can punish you in transition and they did tonight.”
