Orlando City B vs. Philadelphia Union II

Sunday, June 21, 7:00 p.m.

Osceola Heritage Park, Kissimmee, Fla.

Cardiac Cats

Orlando City B has rallied to win its last three matches after trailing at halftime. The Lions overturned 2-1 deficits on May 31 against Chattanooga FC and June 7 against Carolina Core FC, then erased a 1-0 deficit in their June 13 win over Huntsville City FC. The surge is part of a four-match winning streak, the club’s longest over the past two MLS NEXT Pro seasons.

Belgodere Breakthrough

Fresh off his MLS NEXT Rising Star of Matchweek 14 honor, 16-year-old forward Matthew Belgodere continued his strong form in Orlando City B’s win over Huntsville City FC. The young Lion scored the equalizer in the 50th minute, his second professional goal and second in as many matches, after netting his first in the Lions’ June 7 win over Carolina Core FC. The Orlando City Academy product has made 12 appearances, including five starts, during the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro season.

Another Lion Opens Account

Orlando City Academy midfielder Jacob Ramírez opened his professional account in Orlando City B’s 2-1 comeback win over Huntsville City FC. The 16-year-old entered as a second-half substitute and scored the game-winner with a volley into the top left corner off a lofted ball from Nicolas Torres, capping the Lions’ rally. Ramírez has made eight career appearances, including two starts, since his professional debut on Aug. 31, 2025, against Crown Legacy FC.

Wilding Finds Early Success

Orlando City B’s June 13 win over Huntsville City FC marked head coach Eddie Wilding’s fifth victory since taking over on April 9. The Lions hold a 5W-2L-3D record under Wilding, earning extra points in two of three draws through end-of-regulation shootouts, and have dropped points in just two matches during that span.
