ORLANDO, Fla. (Aug. 5, 2025) – Orlando City B has signed Orlando City Academy midfielder Dylan Judelson to an MLS NEXT Pro contract through 2027, it was announced today.
“Dylan has shown an impressive level of composure, intelligence, and grit for his age, qualities that were on full display as he anchored our midfield throughout our GA Cup title run,” said Ricardo Moreira, Orlando City SC General Manager & Sporting Director. “Signing his first professional contract is a major milestone and marks just the beginning of his journey. With a bright future at the Club and the opportunity to represent Canada on the international stage, we’re excited about what’s ahead for him here in Orlando.”
Judelson, 17, becomes the latest player to move up through the Club’s development pathway, first starting at Orlando City Soccer School Seminole before transitioning to the Club’s Academy. As an Academy player, Judelson has featured 13 times for Orlando City B in MLS NEXT Pro, starting in eight of those matches. Internationally, Judelson has represented the Canadian youth national teams six times in competitive matches, including twice for the U-17s and four times for the U-15s.
A key piece of Orlando City Academy’s U-18 Generation adidas Cup title run this season, Judelson was recently named to the East’s roster in the MLS NEXT All-Star Game, captaining the side in Austin last month.
