KISSIMMEE, Fla. (Sept. 21, 2025) – Orlando City B (9-12-5, 35 points) suffered a 1-0 defeat to Huntsville City FC (12-8-6, 46 points) on Sunday evening at Osceola County Stadium. The loss marked OCB’s first-ever home defeat to Huntsville.

The match remained scoreless until the 80th minute, when Huntsville forward Maximus Ekk found the back of the net. Following a corner kick, a series of passes ended with captain Zach Barrett delivering a slow, bouncing ball across the box, which Ekk tapped in for the game-winner.

Despite matching Huntsville in total shots, OCB couldn’t break through the defense. Goalkeeper Carlos Mercado kept the Lions in the game with six saves.

Orlando City B remains 10th in the Eastern Conference and still in contention for a playoff spot. They’ll look to rebound next Saturday on the road against Carolina Core FC, who currently hold the eighth and final playoff position, just three points ahead of OCB.

Scoring Summary:

80’ Maximus Ekk (Zach Barrett) – HNT 1, ORL 0
