Here are five storylines to watch on Saturday as the Lions head west to play at Colorado Rapids:

Rarified Air

Midfielder Martín Ojeda is on the brink of making Orlando City history as he heads into Saturday’s match against the Colorado Rapids. With just one more assist, Ojeda will become only the second player in club history to reach at least 30 career assists, joining former Lion Mauricio Pereyra in that exclusive group. Ojeda currently sits tied for third in MLS this season with six assists, just two behind the league leader. Since joining Orlando City in January 2023, the Argentine international has tallied 21 goals and 29 assists across 107 appearances in all competitions.

Claws All Over Colorado

Orlando City has historically dominated its matchups with the Colorado Rapids, boasting a strong record in the all-time series between the two teams. In eight meetings, the Lions have averaged 2.13 points per game – their highest against any MLS opponent. Orlando holds a 5-1-2 record against Colorado, with their only loss coming in 2021. Saturday’s match marks the Lions’ first trip to the Centennial State since the 2022 regular season and the first meeting between the two sides since June of 2023.

Tying a Legend

Forward Iván Angulo is closing in on a major milestone in Orlando City history. The Colombian international currently has 25 career assists for the Lions – just one shy of tying former Club captain Nani, who sits third all-time with 26. An assist on Saturday would move Angulo into a tie for third in club history, trailing only current teammate Martín Ojeda (29) and the Lions’ all-time assist leader Mauricio Pereyra (47). So far in 2025, Angulo has tallied three assists across all competitions, ranking third on the team this season.

Second-Half Surge

With the FIFA international break coming to a close, Orlando City kicks off the second half of the 2025 MLS regular season on Saturday in Colorado. The Lions wrapped up the first half of the campaign in seventh place in the Eastern Conference with a 7-4-6 record and will now look to build momentum heading into the second half of the campaign. Orlando will aim to replicate last year’s impressive second-half surge, when the Lions went 11-4-2 over the final 17 matches of the 2024 regular season – earning 35 points and netting 42 goals in that span.

Neck and Neck

Midfielder Martín Ojeda and forward Ramiro Enrique are steadily climbing Orlando City’s all-time goal-scoring charts. Ojeda currently sits eighth in club history with 21 goals, while Enrique is right behind him in ninth with 20. Ojeda’s next goal will tie him with former Lion Chris Mueller for seventh all-time and bring him within three of Dom Dwyer for sixth. Meanwhile, Enrique’s next goal would pull him even with Ojeda at 21, moving him into a share for eighth place.

Milestone Tracker:

- Martín Ojeda’s next assist will be his 30th for Orlando City in all competitions, making him the second Lion ever to reach that milestone after Mauricio Pereyra.

- Ojeda ranks eighth in Orlando City history with 21 goals in all competitions. Ojeda’s next goal will tie him with Chris Mueller for seventh all-time.

- Iván Angulo’s next assist will see him tie Nani for third place in club history with 26.
