- Justin Ellis can tie MartÃn Ojeda’s club record of six consecutive matches with an assist if he assists a goal on Saturday in New England. Ojeda achieved the feat across the MLS regular season and Leagues Cup from July 25-August 16, 2025.
- MartÃn Ojeda needs two goals (all competitions) to tie Facundo Torres’ Orlando City club record of 47 career tallies. Ojeda is three assists away from Mauricio Pereyra’s club record, also 47.
- Daryl Dike’s next goal will be his 22nd for the club, tying former teammate Chris Mueller for ninth on the Lions’ all-time scoring list.Â
- Marco Pašalić is two goals away from 20 for the club across all competitions, three behind Dike.

- Orlando City’s 2026 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup run came to an end on Wednesday night, as the Lions fell 2-1 to the Columbus Crew at ScottsMiracle-Gro Field. MartÃn Ojeda passed Cyle Larin to become the second-leading scorer in club history with his 45th career tally in all competitions.
- Justin Ellis notched an assist for the fifth consecutive game on Wednesday night, bursting forward from midfield and eliminating multiple lines of Crew players on the dribble before tucking the ball neatly into Ojeda’s path for the goal. Ellis is up to 12 assists in all competitions, which leads the team. Ellis is one of 14 players with double digit assists in MLS play this season and one of just two teenagers (Cavan Sullivan, Philadelphia Union).
- Ellis was rewarded for his breakout season with a first-ever call-up to the United States Men’s National Team for the all-new FIFA double window, which will see the U.S. play four matches from September 26 through October 6. The first of those matches takes place at Inter.co Stadium against Peru on Saturday, September 26 at 4:30 p.m. ET, meaning Ellis could make his senior international debut in front of his hometown crowd.
- Other Lions called into their national teams for the double window include defender David Brekalo (Slovenia), midfielder Wilder Cartagena (Peru), and forwards Tyrese Spicer (Trinidad & Tobago) and Marco PaÅ¡alić (Croatia). Cartagena’s call-up is his first since November 2024.Â

Orlando has won three straight away games against the Revolution, including a thrilling 4-3 victory at Centreville Bank Stadium in Pawtucket, Rhode Island in the 2026 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Round of 16 in which the Lions erased three separate deficits before winning in second half stoppage time.
