The 2025-26 offseason transaction tracker

January 16th – Signed 2026 MLS SuperDraft selection and forward **Harvey Sarajian** to a first-team contract through the 2027-28 MLS season, with club options for 2028-29, 2029-30 and 2030-31.

January 15th: Announced that midfielder and Designated Player **Martín Ojeda** has signed a new contract through the 2028-29 MLS season. The deal includes a club option for 2029-30.

January 15th: Transferred forward and Designated Player **Luis Muriel** to Junior FC of Colombia’s top division, Liga DIMAYOR. The Lions will retain a sell-on percentage in the event of a future move.

January 8th: Loaned forward **Nicolás Rodríguez** to Atlético Nacional S.A. of Colombia’s Liga BetPlay Dimayor through the end of 2026 with an option to buy.

January 7th: Acquired Nashville SC’s natural third-round selection in the 2027 MLS SuperDraft in exchange for the Right of First Refusal on midfielder Shak Mohammed.

January 6th: Signed free agent goalkeeper **Maxime Crépeau** through the 2027-28 MLS season.

January 2nd: Acquired midfielder **Braian Ojed**a from Real Salt Lake in exchange for $650,000 in 2026 General Allocation Money (GAM) and $650,000 in 2027 GAM. Salt Lake could also receive an additional $475,000 in GAM if Ojeda reaches several performance-based metrics. Real Salt Lake will also retain a sell-on percentage on Ojeda in the event of a future move. Additionally, Ojeda signed a new contract with the Lions through the 2028-29 season, with a club option for the 2029-30 season.

December 26th: Announce the signing of midfielder **Luis Otávio** from Internacional in Brazil's Serie A as a U22 Initiative player.

December 19th: Acquired forward **Tiago Souza** from Esporte Clube Bahia of Série A, Brazil’s top division, the club announced Wednesday. Souza will join the Lions via transfer as a U22 Initiative player through the 2027-28 season, with a club option for 2028-29.

December 18th: Selected five players in the 2026 MLS SuperDraft: forward Harvey Sarajian (No. 5 overall; Wake Forest University), defender Nolan Miller (No. 9 overall; University of Michigan), defender Jaylen Yearwood (No. 14 overall; University of North Florida), midfielder Issah Haruna (No. 20 overall; University of North Carolina Greensboro) and defender Mitch Ferguson (No. 74 overall; University of Notre Dame). The Club also traded the No. 43 overall pick to St. Louis CITY SC in exchange for $50,000 in 2026 General Allocation Money (GAM).

December 16th: Transfered defender **Rodrigo Schlegel** to Atlas F.C. of Liga MX after six seasons as a Lion.

December 10th:  Acquired $500,000 in 2026 General Allocation Money (GAM) from CF Montréal in exchange for defender Dagur Dan Thórhallsson. The Lions could also receive up to an additional $125,000 in GAM contingent on Thórhallsson reaching predefined performance-based metrics. Orlando will also retain a sell-on percentage on Thórhallsson in the event of a future transfer.

December 8th: Acquired the No. 20 overall pick in the first round of the 2026 MLS SuperDraft from Nashville SC in exchange for Homegrown defender Thomas Williams. The deal also includes up to $100,000 in conditional General Allocation Money (GAM), contingent on performance-based metrics.

December 1st: Announced defender Robin Jansson signed a new contract, securing his place with the Lions through the 2027 season.

November 6th: Announces 2025 End-of-Season Roster Decisions, exercising options on seven players, with the roster at 14 contracted players entering into the 2025-26 offseason.

October 31st: Announced goalkeeper Pedro Gallese will depart the Club following the conclusion of his current contract after six seasons as a Lion.
