HARRISON, NJ. — Just one week after heading up to New York, Orlando City head just down the road to New Jersey to take on the New York Red Bulls. The starting lineup for the Lions has two changes ahead of an earlier-than-usual kickoff.
César Araújo will miss today's game after he felt tightness late in the week and is being held out of today's match as a precaution, so in steps rookie Joran Gerbet for his first MLS start.
The second change will be Kyle Smith getting the start at left back in place of Rafael Santos, who heads to the bench.
Speaking of the bench, Duncan McGuire, who underwent arthroscopic surgery in his right shoulder in December, is available for the first time in 2025. David Brekalo, who missed the last two matches, is also back available on the bench.
Also in the reserves, Gustavo Caraballo, who became the 18th Homegrown to sign for Orlando City yesterday, is on the bench, alongside Orlando City B defender Zakaria Taifi, who signed a short-term agreement today.
