ORLANDO, Fla. (Sept. 8, 2025) – Orlando City SC announced today the transfer of forward Ramiro Enrique to Al-Kholood of Saudi Arabia’s Roshn Saudi League. The move opens a U22 Initiative Slot on Orlando City’s roster. In accordance with Club policy, specific terms of the transfer will not be disclosed.
"Ramiro has been a true professional throughout his time in Orlando," said Ricardo Moreira, Orlando City SC General Manager & Sporting Director. "His dedication to the Club, our staff and his teammates has been exemplary. His goals in key moments will always be remembered, and as much as he will be missed, this was an offer both the Club and Ramiro could not refuse. We thank him for all his contributions and wish him nothing but success in the next chapter of his career."
Enrique, 24, made 43 starts in 102 appearances for the Lions across all competitions, scoring 26 goals and providing seven assists in that span. The Burzaco, Argentina, native leaves the club ranking sixth all-time on the Club’s all competitions scoring chart. In 2024, Enrique scored at least one goal in six consecutive matches across all competitions.
Prior to arriving in Orlando ahead of the 2023 season, Enrique appeared in 73 professional matches, scoring 12 goals and providing three assists in just under 4,000 minutes across all competitions. A product of Banfield’s academy system, Enrique signed his first professional contract with the South American club in July 2019. The Argentine international made his professional debut on Feb. 12, 2021, in a Copa de la Liga match against Racing Club when he came on as a 73rd-minute substitute.
