ā€œThe biggest thing for us, as always, is to look at it, assess it, analyze and then equally put it to use as fuel,ā€ Lions head coach James Oā€™Connor said. ā€œWeā€™re aware that weā€™re not at our best on Sunday so now we need to get out, we need to make sure we get a strong performance and really get after things on Saturday in front of our own supporters.ā€

This is the first meeting of the season between the Lions and Dynamo. In March 2015, Orlando City picked up its first-ever MLS victory at Houston. City is 1-1-1 against Houston all-time.

Houston snapped a 10-game winless streak in MLS competition with a 4-1 win over the Portland Timbers on Saturday. Mauro Manotas scored twice, while Alberth Elis and Alejandro Fuenmayor also scored.

Four days after Saturdayā€™s match, Houston will host the Philadelphia Union in the 2018 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Final.
