ORLANDO, Fla. (July 12, 2025) – Martín Ojeda set a new club record as Orlando City SC (9-5-8, 35 points) played to a 1-1 draw against CF Montréal (8-11-2, 26 points) on Saturday night at Inter&Co Stadium.
The Lions struck first in the 28th minute when Ojeda fired a left-footed shot into the back of the net off an indirect free kick served to him by Luis Muriel. Ojeda’s goal was his 10th of the season, tying for the team lead and marking his seventh consecutive match with a goal contribution, which set a new Club record. Muriel’s assist marked his sixth of the season and his third in the last two games.
Defensively, Orlando held Montréal without a shot on target until the 83rd minute when the visitors equalized after being awarded a penalty kick that Prince Owusu converted to level the match and ultimately split points for both sides.
Orlando City returns to action at home this Wednesday, July 16, against New York City FC. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET, with live coverage available on MLS Season Pass via Apple TV.

Head Coach Oscar Pareja:
"I thought from the first minute to the 90th, we had a feel and comfort in the game, but we just couldn’t find our rhythm. I have to say we tried to move, and eventually, we had some moments that sparked us a little. But overall, it was a very uncomfortable game for us, even though we did enough to win. That’s part of the frustration, especially because we must win at home. It’s another chapter of, ‘Okay, it could have been,’ and we have to transform that into reality. That’s the frustration. It was a very complicated game, not an easy one."
